I started fishing at a early age with my father, the fishing bug bit and took hold pretty good. I have fished everything from local bass club tournaments to the old US Bass circuit and Honey Hole Team cirucuits back in the 80's and early 90's, in the late 90's the saltwater bug bit me and I started chasing trophy trout along the Laguna Madre and Baffin Bay. I guess we all come home to our passion sooner or later and chasing bass is where it has always been for me. So I sold my Bay Boat this spring, bought a Bass Boat from one of my Pro Staff , and the next thing I knew I bought StrikeWorks Tackle Co. My passion for the sport keeps me driven on developing and releasing new products to compliment what I feel is the best Jig on the market. I also build Custom rods for both Wade Fisherman on the Texas Coast and now rods for Bass Fishing.
I have a 11 yr old daughter that keeps me on my toes, she is going to be my star Volleyball Player in the very near future along with a fantastic little fishing gal!

I was born and raised in Lufkin, TX and began my fishing love at an early age. The first topwater strike I ever got is still firmly planted in my memories. Growing up, I was able to fish the mighty Sam Rayburn and Dam B, as well as stock ponds around our community. Throughout the years, my travels have enabled me to fish such waters as Lake-o-the-Pines, Caddo, The Big cypress Bayou, Wright Patman, Conroe, and Somerville, just to name a few.

I grew up in east Texas and was blessed to live close to some of the best bass fishing lakes in Texas. My father was a avid angler, as well as my brother and I, which gave us the opportunity to fish a lot (and we did). I moved to Tennessee In 1989 for college and was introduced to different kinds of fishing, and fell in love with small mouth bass. I moved back to Texas in 1997 and fell back in love with the mighty largemouth. I spend most of my time field testing new products, and get to work on different ideas of what works great and what can be changed. I do a lot of seminars and youth fishing events to spread the joy of fishing to people of all ages. I am more of a power angler these days and love a deep water jig bite most of all.
Tight lines and God bless,

I started fishing as soon as I was old enough to hold a rod. I’m the son of a charter boat captain and scuba diving business owner. I spent all my free time fishing and diving San Diego’s inshore and off shore waters. Caught my first Fresh water bass on Otay Lake in San Diego as a child and it’s still my home lake today. As I got older I worked as a deck hand for several charter boats out of Mission Bay and Point Loma ca. After college I moved to Alaska to be a commercial fisherman in a family owner Salmon Business on the Kenai Peninsula near the Cook Inlet. I also worked as a guide for Salmon and Halibut. When I returned to California I pursued my first love fresh water bass fishing. I fished in a couple of Bass clubs for a short while but I found no challenge in it so I moved on. I spent the next couple years fishing major lakes all over the country to gain experience. I’ve fished everywhere from Minnesota to Mazatlan Mexico ( El Salto). In 2006 I started fishing in the BassMasters Opens that’s where I got my nick name” Drop Shot King” from elite Pro James Stricklin. I plan to continue fishing in the opens and the Won pro series in the future. Although I have not won any major pro events all my pro friends know what I’m capable of and I believe I can beat anybody on any given day and I hope to do so in the future. I’m currently finishing up my third article for Bass Angler Magazine with Bassmaster Elite Jeff Kriet. I’m looking forward to my duties as the front man for SkippyFish at the ICAST Convention doing sales, interviews and demonstrations in the casting tank.

I was born in Frankfurt, Germany due to my father being in the military and stationed there during that time. Some of my earliest memories of bass fishing were at the age six years old as it was my
father's intent to instill the passion and respect for the outdoors in me at a very young age. I caught my first bass at six years old on Alligator Lake at Ft Polk, LA. Since that day I have been hooked. I
enjoy and am passionate about the outdoors from bass fishing to bow hunting.
I graduated High School from Barnwell High School in 2001. Shortly thereafter joined the Army and went off to basic training. From January 2003-March 2004 I had a break in fishing due to being deployed with the 82nd Airborne Division in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq). After returning home from overseas I made it a point to make up for all the lost time I had fishing. I started fishing tournaments in the later part of 2008.

Like most avid fishermen, I began fishing at a young age. To say the least, I was blessed beyond measure with the father and grandfather I have who planted my roots in fishing. I grew up spending summers on Lake Kiowa, a private 600 acre lake in north Texas and was spoiled by catching 5-6 pound bass on a regular basis and huge crappie to boot. As we all aged, my granddad decided that 16 was old enough to own a bass boat and passed his onto me. Several years and bass boats later, I began tournament fishing at the age of 22. Since, my knowledge and understanding of fishing has expanded exponentially, as has my patience. I am currently fishing the Federation, Ignition, and select Bud Light and Bass Champs events and plan to fish the entire Federation and Ignition series’ in 2012 as well as the BFL. I am excited to get to promote such an incredible product line that I have been using since long before this opportunity came about. From a Snoopy pole with a beetle spin and casting off the dock to 20 rod combos and high performance bass boats, you could say the times have changed.
On a personal level, I am a proud fighting Texas Aggie c/o 2009 with a background in Livestock Production Management. I currently work for Frito Lay in Houston, Tx and enjoy spending time I’m not on the lake on a family ranch where we raise exotics and whitetail.
